Breathwork is rooted in ancient yogic (pranayama) practices and is experiencing a huge resurgence thanks to heart and neuro sciences.  This is a great thing. The benefits are amazing and it is accessible to most folks regardless of physical limitations*.

 

Think meditation + lying down + psychedelic experience.

 

As you move through life the stressful experiences get stored or ‘stuck’ in your body. This stress accumulates, creating physical, mental and emotional blockages, which over time can lead to various ailments, diseases and disorders.

 

Breathwork is a healing modality that uses an intentional, controlled and rhythmic breath pattern to release the tension, stress and blockages that have been trapped in the body.

 

Using this style of holotropic breathwork, you will activate your sympathetic nervous system by using your breath to bring in and circulate oxygen throughout your body and expel CO2. This oxygenation process unlocks the energy and emotions stored in your body, allowing them to rise to the surface so that they can be released.

The breathwork pattern that I offer s called "HeartBreath"and it is more gentle than some of the other styles you may have heard of or experienced. You will not be taking your body to the point of hyperventilation.

You are in control of the depth and rhythm of your breath, and I am supporting you the entire time.

 

You will drop in to a healing energetic field to clear blocks that keep you stuck in holding patterns. I infuse each session with energetic clearing to facilitate your journey.

Breathwork is highly recommended for people who have experienced trauma and are not suitable candidates for plant medicine healing. Your breath can carry you places that plant medicines and other stimulants can't.
